Blog 38: Will you go down with the Titanic, in the history books?

Will you go down with the Titanic, in the history books?  We can all remember the famous voyage of the Titanic whether from reading about it or from seeing the movie.  The Titanic is a legacy in itself and something that will not easily be forgotten.  Built to be the first luxury ship to cross the seas, the Titanic was already set to make a mark on history, but fate had a different idea.  In the wreckage and death of thousands of people, the Titanic still became a legacy, although for an extremely different reason than it was designed.  People can look back on that voyage and recall the mistake’s made in the production of the giant ship.  With the mistakes in mind, people can improve upon them for the ships that have followed the giant ship.  But the question I am asking is not will you sink in your first steps, but will you make something of yourself that is worth being remembered for by people many years after you have finished your final trip?
Being immortal is not always about living forever.  Who in their right mindset would want to spend an eternity alive after everything they have ever cared about has long since wasted away?  No, having a legacy and being immortal through it is what it is really all about.  Some people are immortal because they live on through the ink their story is written with on a piece of plain paper.  That is a true legacy in my opinion.  So to close this entire paper I want to ask you a question: do you know the muffin man?
