Blog 40: A family is a gift that lasts forever.

                I would like to take the time to talk about my parents.  I wanted to talk about just one but then I realized I cannot really choose one over the other.  They have both helped me out in so many ways and I would not be the person I am today if it were not for them.  Most people probably feel the same way when reading the last sentence, but it is true.  Both of my parents work in a hospital, which I think has sort of inspired me to join the medical field myself.  My dad is very musical, he can sing and played the violin for nine years.  I cannot sing, but I can play the trumpet and love music.  Music is a large part of my life.  My mom has always been there for me.  Whenever something would go wrong, like getting hit by a deer on my way to school one morning, m she was right there.  I strive to be like her, even if she doesn’t know it.  She has managed to juggle a full time job, cooking, cleaning house, and be at every single one of my school events.  I don’t know how she did it but I am so thankful that she did.  My parents have always supported me in any choice I have made.  They bought me a trumpet when I wanted to join band way back in fourth grade.  They bought my first car for me.  And when I told them I wanted to go to Ohio State for college, they told me I had what it takes to get in.  I love them so much, and could not ask for anything more from them.
