Blog 48: Everyone has a photographic memory… some just don’t have film.

This blog is dedicated to something in nature that I find fascinating.  Have you ever seen a double rainbow?? And by double rainbow, I mean two rainbows in the sky at the same time side by side.  They are so so cool to see, and I mean hello how can you not find them interesting!  It is always pretty cool to see a rainbow in the sky.  It usually makes people feel pretty happy or even better pretty lucky.  Rainbows only happen when it is raining outside and the sun is out and shining.  It is an effect that happens when the light is refracted off of the water drops and out comes a rainbow.  But it was even more incredible to see two rainbows form at once.  I have only seen it once, and it was pretty amazing to see.  The light that hits the water drops is split.  So the water acts like a prism.  When the light splits, the colors become visible for us humans to see and distinguish between.  I can remember the order of the colors of the rainbow by using the “name” Roy g. Biv.  It stands for red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, and indigo.  I learned that a long time ago, back in like second grade and it has stuck.  But anyways, I think that rainbows are pretty miraculous things that happen in nature and find them extremely fascinating.  So this has been my blog and I would like to thank you for reading.
