Blog 49: Some say the glass is half full... Some say the glass is half empty... I say “Are you gonna drink that?

I would like to take this time and use it for what it could possibly be worth and share, with anyone who reads it, my dream or goals to achieve my dream.  I have set many goals for myself over the years.  One of the first ones was to get accepted into Ohio State.  As you can see I achieved this goal, and could not be happier.  Ohio State is the only college I applied to, and it was the only college I wanted to attend.  Now that I am enrolled and taking classes at Ohio State, my next goal I have set for myself is to get into the Radiologic Sciences and Technologies major here at Ohio State.  It is all in an effort to get accepted into medical school.  Once into medical school, I can fully focus on my dream.  This dream is one that has been changed throughout my years in high school.  But my senior year brought me the ability to make up my mind and realize what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.  I want to become a doctor and specialize in Radiology.  I am not sure exactly how I ended up with Radiology, but it fascinates me.  I always knew from a young age that I wanted to go into medicine.  I just had to find the right area, and I finally have.  I have made it my dream, and the one goal I will work though anything to achieve.

  1. Everyone looked at me like I was a crazy person when they found out that I only applied to OSU, my family even tried to insist that I do a few more applications. I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's the only school I wanted to go to and now that I look back on it, I was scarily confident in my achievements at the time and assumed that I would be accepted.

  2. I am also glad to find out that I was not the only one who only applied to OSU! I thought i was crazy but at the same time i was similar to you being very confident in my grades and act score to get me in... but i guess we did it which is what matters! :)
