Blog 53: Never take life seriously... Nobody gets out alive anyway.

                Many people have a certain thing that comes to mind when they hear the word stepbrother.  Some think of a brother who is not related to them yet by chance of marriage is considered their brother.  I was one of those people, until 2008 that is.  But after 2008, the word took on a new form.  More and more people would use it, mainly in sentences such as: I love stepbrothers or stepbrothers is hilarious.  I myself have said both things countless times.  When you hear this quote, “Can we turn our beds into bunk beds?  It would give us so much extra space in our room to do activities.” You should automatically think stepbrothers.  Another few great phrases that now accompany the word are as follows:  Hey man, did you touch my drum set?  Or, why are you so sweaty?  I was watching cops.  Again the response is I love stepbrothers! (unless of course you are so weird human being who dislikes the movie starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in which case I cannot associate with you)  So anyways when you think about it, this word is pretty fantastic.  The one thing I think of when I hear the word stepbrothers is the quote, “You yelled rape at the top of your lungs.  Mom I honestly thought I was going to be raped for a second… he had the craziest look in his eyes and at one point he said let’s get it on.  That was about the fight, I am so not a raper.”  Ah one of my favorite lines of all time.  I could quote almost the whole thing right now, but that would be way too long and very annoying.  If you are somebody who enjoys this movie as I do then please tell me what quote you think of first when you hear the word “stepbrothers”.   Just leave it in the comments section!
